Runstenar vid Överselö kyrka, 1950
Description

Sö 205 (Överselö 148:6), Överselö kyrka. Vid kyrkans västvägg står tre runstenar. Sö 205 längst till vänster och Sö 207 till höger. Mellan dem finns en del av en ristad sten med bara några få runtecken. Sö 205 hittades 1844 under tröskeln i kyrkans sydvästra ingång, där den troligen legat sedan vapenhuset byggdes vid medeltidens slut. Stenen var då bruten i tre delar. Nu finns endast mittstycket kvar, medan de andra två lades in i grundmuren till det norra tillbygget 1881-1882. Tack vare att alla delarna då ritades av, känner vi ändå hela texten. "Ingjald och Visäte och Stenulv, de reste stenen efter Karl, sin fader, Och Gillhög efter sin make och Inga efter sin son och Ärnger efter sin broder. Äsbjörn och Tidkume höggo runorna. Orökja målade." Sö 207 (Överselö 148:4), Överselö kyrka. Stenen står längst till höger. '"... sin fader. Han for manligen till England. Gud hjälpe hans stjäl."
