Description
Français : Exemple audio montrant de l'effet d'une réverbération de pièce (room reverb) dans un mix funk, avec beaucoup d'instruments percussifs. Le mix est d'abord sans reverb, puis avec reverb. Cela permet de donner l'impression que tous les instruments jouent dans la même pièce.

Instruments :

  • Batterie : Addictive Drums (caisse claire Ludwig, grosse caisse Gretsch) (tempo = 85 BPM)
  • Percussions : sons enregistrés par Freddythehat et time-stretchées pour correspondre au tempo
  • Basse :Sire Marcus Miller V7 - simulation d'ampli sur Amplitube 4)
  • Guitare électrique : Aria Pro II, Atomic Amplifirebox (simulateur d'ampli format pédale), direct carte son
  • Fender Rhodes : VSTi Mr Ray 22
  • Room reverb : Fab Filter Pro R, préset "colored Room B", mix à 100%. Tous les instruments sont envoyés en insert dans la réverb, dont le volume est ensuite ajusté (-10,6 dB)
Enregistré avec une carte son Focusrite 18i8 et mixé dans Reaper 6.
English: Audio example of the room reverb effect in a funk mix with a lot of percussive instruments. First part is without room reverb, then the effect is added. This gives the listener the impression that all instruments play in the same room, although they have been recorded separately or generated by plugins.

Instruments :

  • Drums: Addictive Drums (caisse claire Ludwig, grosse caisse Gretsch) (tempo = 85 BPM)
  • Percussions : sounds recorded by Freddythehat and time-stretched to match the tempo
  • Bass: Sire Marcus Miller V7 - bass amp sim on Amplitube 4
  • Guitare électrique: Aria Pro II, Atomic Amplifirebox (amp sim), direct into soundcard
  • Fender Rhodes: VSTi Mr Ray 22
  • Room reverb: Fab Filter Pro R, "colored Room B", preset, mix set to 100%. All instruments are send into the reverb (insert), the volume of the room reverb is then adjusted (-10,6 dB)
Recorded with a Focusrite 18i8 soundcard and mixed in Reaper 6.
