English: The NYPD is seeking the public's assistance for the whereabouts and identity of the following individual wanted in connection to a Robbery in the confines of the 42nd Pct. The circumstances are as follows:
On Thursday, December 20, 2012 at approximately 0925 hours a F/H/57 was followed into an elevator on Washington Ave by a male. The suspect exits the elevator one floor before the victim and then meets the victim as the elevator reaches her floor. He then begins to assault the victim and remove her property. The suspect then flees the building to parts unknown. Suspect description: M/B/17-20, approx. 5'11" in height, thin build, wearing a black Polo Jacket, black sweat pants and a black hat with a red stripe. Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential. |
