English: The New York City Police Department is asking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect wanted for a robbery within the confines of the 71 Precinct. Details are as follows:
On Monday, July 16, 2012 at 7:00pm the suspect, armed with a knife, entered the Paradise Cleaners, located at 362 Utica Avenue, jumped behind the counter and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect fled with an undetermined amount of money. There were no reported injuries. The suspect is a M/B, 6'1"-6'5" tall with a beard and cornrow braided hair. He was last seen wearing dark shorts, a grey tee shirt, black baseball hat and grey sneakers. Anyone with information in regards to this robbery is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577. |
