Summary

[edit]
Description Re-entered cable tray penetration with Firestop Mortar. Look at the firestop tag. It warns that re-entries should be subject to a system, such that each hole is properly re-sealed in accordance with the certification listing that bounds the original seal. In this case, the plant chose to not have such a system. Consequently, they have elected not to have any fire-resistance on this whole floor, thus jeopardising the entire fire protection plan as set out by the original architect for the sake of the immediate economics of not having to fix the hole.
