Description
English: Part 2: Defining Usual Occupation and Industry. Part 2 discusses the differences between occupation and industry, and why both are important to collect on a death certificate. Specifically, the data field on a death certificate is for “usual” occupation and industry, which refers to a person’s longest-held job and associated industry. We provide prompts to collect useful information with the needed amount of detail.
