English: Swollen hyphae germinate in the lung and induce NET formation. A wild type mouse was treated as described for Video S4. The movie shows a series of Z-slices through a large fungal mass with clearly detectable outgrowing hyphae as well as NET-structures at the periphery of the mass and the borders of alveoli. Afterwards, the whole Z-stack is 3-D rendered and rotated to demonstrate the 3-D appearance of the fungal ball relative to the lung structures. Dimensions of the stack are given at the bottom. |
