Notes Orginally published in a sketch book ("probably VII") by J. Harris, 24 March 1794 (see 1932,0311.23), Buckley records that the plate was re-printed by J.P. Thompson 1 Jan 1800. As the impression is trimmed to the image, it is not possible to establish to which publication the present plate belongs. See Francis Buckley, 'George Morland's Sketch Books and their Publishers', manuscript copy with pasted printed leaflet in the P&D; library, p.18.
