Description |
Svenska: Skålformig kopp på profilerad fot med insänkt botten samt med två C-formade henklar och lågt kupigt lock med en rund knopp. Mellan henklarna svenska riksvapnet under ätten Pfalz med två tillbakablickande lejon som sköldhållare. På baksidan en kartusch med en hamnbild i miniatyr. På fatet en guldrand runt brättet, i mitten en upphöjd ring med miniatyrmålning därutanför kartuscher med miniatyrmålningar i camaïeu. Föremål av samma typ, sannolikt tillhörande samma servis som denna kopp, finns på Skokloster, Uppland och Nationalmuseum, Stockholm. Enligt uppgift ska denna servis ha skänkts av sachsiska hovet till drottning Ulrica Eleonora. Fabriken grundlagd 1710 av kung August II av Polen, kurfurste av Sachsen. Johann Friedrich Böttger, som 1709 uppfann det fältspatäkta europeiska porslinet, var fabrikens tekniske ledare från dess grundläggande till sin död 1719. Pris: 415 kr.
