Regarding copyright status in the United States: This is the English section from a booklet originally published in 1935 by TTK, written primarily by Yusuf Akçura. The copyright was restored via the Uruguay Round Agreements Act to TTK in 1996.
Regarding public domain status in Turkey: Akçura died in 1935†, the colleague who helped transcribe the text, Hasan Fehmi Turgal, died in 1939.‡ This scan is from the 1960s reprint which contains the same text as the 1935 printing, for the English section.
