| Description |
English: Disused stone mine on the northern slopes of Wensleydale, above Hawes, North Yorkshire. Roofing flags of easily-split gritstone were quarried and mined here in the 19th century. This entrance to one of the levels remains in good condition for a considerable distance into the hillside. |
