Description
English: The CSX Sanford Subdivision north of the DeLand Amtrak and SunRail station in West DeLand, Florida. This shot was taken from the northernmost pedestrian crossing leading to the SunRail island platform. The SunRail tracks end just off to the left, while the CSX tracks also used by Amtrak continue off to the right. In between the tracks is a bilingual sign telling commuters not to trespass or they'll face a $1000 fine, combined with a sign apparently from SunRail trying to discourage people from committing suicide by jumping in front of trains. The early-21st century seems to be getting a spike in suicides and suicide attempts for some reason. Few would agree with me, but this has to do with issues over the quality of life, rather than life itself.
