研究楊朱學說的專著。作者剖析了楊朱學說的根本觀念—「我」的涵義,認為楊朱的「為我」與他反對「侵物」聯繫在一起;由於楊朱主張與歷代君主統治不諧,故漸泯滅。全書分6章:第1章為總論,闡述《列子·楊朱》篇產生的時代,楊朱其人及其學說淵源和先秦諸子對楊朱學說的批評。第2至第6章依次闡述楊朱的根本思想,人生哲學,名實論,政治思想,以及楊朱學說絕滅的原因。書末附錄:《楊朱言行集》。

Works of Chinese origin that have entered the public domain in the U.S. due to certain circumstances (such as publication in noncompliance with U.S. copyright formalities) may have had their U.S. copyright restored under the Uruguay Round Agreements Act (URAA) if the work was under copyright in its country of origin on the date that the URAA took effect in that country. (For the People's Republic of China, the URAA took effect on January 1, 1996. For the Republic of China (ROC), the URAA took effect on January 1, 2002.[1])
