Nederland stuurt, olv oud-minister dr. ir. J.A. Ringers, mensen met ervaring in het dichten van doorgebroken dijken, om de schade op te nemen en mee te helpen herstellen. In Nederlandse havens liggen kranen, grijpers, pontons, pompen, slangen ed. klaar. SHOTS: - overstroomde gebieden; - Engelse krantekoppen; - laatste fase droogmaking Walcheren na de oorlog; - hulpmateriaal ligt gereed of wordt de havens uitgesleept; 07:40 Ringers.
