勝川春章画。箏組歌集絵本。半紙本2巻合1冊。寛政7年(1795)正月序刊。書肆名を欠くが、序の末尾に「唐麻呂にかはりてしかいふ」とあるので、板元は蔦唐麻呂こと蔦屋重三郎と推定される。色摺り。画工の署名もないが、画風から勝川春章に比定されている。序者の「武野樵夫」は、『画本虫撰』の宿屋飯盛序の書風に近似する。箏の組歌に取材したもので、毎半丁、上部に雲形の余白を取って、組歌の詞章を書き入れ、下段に詞章の風趣に合わせ描いた絵を置く。丁付に代わるものとして、詞章の末尾に、○に「い」~「ぬ」(上巻)、「る」~「う」(下巻)を記入。内容は八橋十三組中、「菜蕗」、「梅が枝 をどりの曲」、「心尽」、「天下太平」の四組。雅麗な王朝風に当世風を交え描いており、夕顔、朧月夜などの源氏絵を多少崩したものもある。なお本絵本は、安永3(1774)、4年頃に出された小判錦絵組物『春章画帖』(当館請求記号:京乙-312)を基に、一部、美人の顔の部分に修訂を加えたもので、『春章画帖』が収める全14図はすべて本絵本に採られている。(鈴木淳)〈参考文献〉浅野秀剛『絵本松のしらべ』解題(『秘蔵浮世絵大観3 大英博物館3』1988年6月、講談社)。
