Description
Español: Ilustracion de las dos poblaciones de desmán ibérico conocidas en 1897 como Myogalea pyrenaica var. pyrenaica (A) y Myogalea pyrenaica var. rufula (B). Esta es la ilustración que acompaña a la descripción original de la variedad rufula, cuyo texto puede leerse en BHL . En la década de 2000 se conocen como Galemys pyrenaicus subsp. pyrenaicus (A) y Galemys pyrenaicus subsp. rufulus (B).
English: Illustration of the two populations of Pyrenean desman known in 1897 under the names Myogalea pyrenaica var. pyrenaica (A) and Myogalea pyrenaica var. rufula (B). This is the illustration accompanying the original description of the variety rufula, the text of which can be read at BHL. They are known in the 2000s as Galemys pyrenaicus subsp. pyrenaicus (A) and Galemys pyrenaicus subsp. rufulus (B).
