Description
English: The White Polled Heath is an old german domestic sheep breed, here to be seen near the Levee of Hunte at Dümmer, Germany.
Deutsch: Die Moorschnucke ist eine alte deutsche Schafrasse, hier zu sehen am Deich der Hunte, ein Naturschutzgebiet am Dümmer beweidend (s. Schäferhof Dümmer). Die Moorschnucke ist von der Gesellschaft zur Erhaltung alter und gefährdeter Haustierrassen (GEH) in der Roten Liste gefährdeter Nutztierrassen für 2019 in der Stufe III (gefährdet) eingestuft.
