Deutsch: Mit Gebet und Gebell. Tiersegnung und -wallfahrt als religiöse Handlungen
Diverse Orte 2012/13 – 50 min Buch/Regie: Andrea Graf Tiersegnungen waren in der Vergangenheit traditionell katholische Veranstaltungen, bei denen Bauern ihre Nutztiere segnen ließen. Die Alltagsbeobachtung zeigt jedoch, dass gerade im Rheinland in den letzten zwei Jahrzehnten in vielen – auch evangelischen – Gemeinden Tiersegnungen und – Gottesdienste, auch eine Wallfahrt mit Hunden, neu entstanden sind. Die Beteiligten setzen sich dabei aus Freizeit- und Turnierreitern, Hunde- und Kleintierhaltern zusammen. Diese Entwicklung verweist sowohl auf einen Wandel in der Mensch-Tier-Beziehung als auch auf die Suche nach neuen Formen von Religiosität sowie auf Veränderungen in der Liturgie und der Stellung des Tieres im christlichen Glauben. |
