English: Arms of Mildmay (of 4 quarters) impaling Sherington (of 4 quarters), detail from monument to Sir Anthony Mildmay (died 1617) of Apethorpe Hall, Northamptonshire, a Member of Parliament for Wiltshire from 1584 to 1586 and English ambassador in Paris in 1597, and his wife Grace Sherington (d.1620), a daughter and co-heiress of Sir Henry Sherington of Lacock Abbey in Wiltshire. South Chapel, St Leonard's Church, Apethorpe.
