Description
English: Chinese-born British writer Ma Jian, interviewed by VOA in Hong Kong, spoke of the influence that the PRC government exerts on overseas news media published in Chinese and other languages. He was in town for the annual Hong Kong International Literary Festival, but his trip was dogged by censorship and pressure from Red China.
粵語: 英國唐人作家馬建喺香港接受美國之音訪問,批評中國政府收買境外中文同番文媒體,實施言論審查。佢此行訪港參加香港國際文學節,但政治壓力令佢兩個講座俾活動場地大館先係取消,後來至如期舉行。
中文:马建:“中国政府早就通过大外宣,把他们的文化意识、政治意识,一点一点输入到很多国家,报刊杂志基本上都被各地的中国大使馆给收买了,你很难看到中国按照官方的要求之外的报纸,几乎没有了,那么英文的报纸也会慢慢的开始(被渗透),也会越来越多。”
