| Description |
English: Lands (owned and leased) that were managed by the Missouri Department of Conservation as of 2007 in the St. Louis region. Created with GIS data from the Missouri Spatial Data Information Service. Source file: ftp://msdis.missouri.edu/pub/state/st_mdcland.zip. See the metadata in the source for origins, appropriate use, and disclaimers. In this rendering, land parcels of less than 1000 acres (405 hectares) are shown as points (+). The actual geographic extent is shown for parcels of 1000 acres or more. This map created with shptosvg and finished with Inkscape. The map projection used is described by "+proj=aea +lon_0=-92.00 +lat_1=37.5 +lat_2=39.667 +x_0=0 +y_0=0 +ellps=clrk66 +datum=WGS84 +units=m +no_defs" Note: This map currently includes Community Assistance sites. A future version will omit those as they don't really fit the intent of this map. |
