Asa B. Hutchinson writes to William Lloyd Garrison expressing his joy at having been delivered copies of the Liberator and the Standard following a recent performance. Hutchinson states that the "change in public sentiments on the Cape & Nantucket" has been "marvelous", with their "radical sentiments of freedom" being "those most cordially viewed and applauded". Hutchinson closes with a listing of upcoming tour dates for the "Tribe of Asa"
