Description
English:
Saint Lawrence church. On Pangor Hill, along the Malom creek (today's Dózsa György Street), there was the medieval church of Pilismarót. The Catholics built our new church dedicated to St. Lawrence between April 12, 1792 and June 27, 1794, which was damaged by the earthquake of January 1810. The year 1810 on the façade of the church refers both to the year of renovation and to the date when Pilismarót was again organized into an independent parish from the filia of Dömös. - Köztársaság Square, Rákóczi Ferenc Street (Route 11), Pilismarót, Komárom-Esztergom County, Hungary.

Pilismaróti Szent Lőrinc-templom. - A templom homlokzatán sokáig a következő felírat volt olvasható: „ Glória inexcelsis Deo et in terra pax hominibus bonae voluntatis. 1792." /Dicsőség a magasságban Istennek, és a földön békesség a jóakaratú embereknek. 1792 az építés kezdetének éve. Az 1825-26-ban készült toronyórát 1899-ben a község költségén felújították.
