Description
English:
Country (National) flag memorial. This is the 8th station of the Kelta túra. The first local flag memorial built in 1936, demolished in 1959. Current memorial built in 1991. Here is a special viewpoint, the only natural point from which you can see the western basin, the Tihany Peninsula and the eastern basin of Lake Balaton. Also from botanical acpects this is a special place here (maybe in Balatonföldvár) can be found almost all of the main Hungarian tree species as Tilia argentea, Acer campestre, Acer platanoides, Quercus robur, Fraxinus ornus, Quercus pubescens, Cetlis occidentalis, Robinia pseudo-acacia. /translated based on balatonfoldvar.info.hu/hu/aktivan/keltatura/ /- Kelta Promenade at the end of Kilátó Street, Balatonföldvár, Somogy County, Hungary.
