Summary
[edit]DescriptionLake Estancia and Lake Willard.png |
English: Three stages of Lake Estancia. Bachhuber (1989, p. 1549) states that the water level was at 1,939 meters above sea level in the Early Estancia Lake period, and it dropped to 1,897 meters (p. 1550) and 1,870 meters (p. 1550) in the Late Estancia Lake and the Lake Willard periods, repectively. The three rings -- purple (Willard), yellow (Late), and green (Early) -- match these elevations and were calculated from digital elevation data collected by the United States Geological Survey between 2019 and 2021. The exact tiles that were used for this can be found in the data provenance and licensing section on the file discription page.
The modern populated places, county boundaries, and roadways are shown for identification purposes. Their sources are listed in the data provenance. |
