Summary
[edit]DescriptionLahn river and Elisabethbrücke Marburg (detail) 2016-02-16.JPG |
English: Detail of a Bridge railing cable, or wire rope railing to secure heavy vehicles in cause of accidents from driving down from the bridge into a river. That safety railrope is used in handrails of bridges to reduce material and prevent people in cars e.g. to drive over the edge without usage of an additional, massive Crash barrier. Behind in the photo, taken in February 2016 in the city of Marburg, you can see the Lahn in Marburg.
