La Rosenhöhe (colline des roses) à Darmstadt est un parc historique dans lequel se trouvent les tombes de la famille des Grand Ducs de Hesse. Il est accessible au public. La porte d'entrée du parc est ornée de colonnes en briques d'Albin Mueller et de sculptures de lions de Bernhard Hoetger. Les portails en bronze représentant des cavaliers sont des répliques faites par Hermann Tomada d'une oeuvre de Bernhard Hoetger. Les lions étaient au début du siècle dernier à l'entrée de la colonie d'artistes qui est toute proche sur la Mathildenhöhe. |
