Description
Nederlands: WOUDRICHEM - Voor de laatste keer was er een kindergemeenteraad in de gemeente Woudrichem. Basisschool leerlingen van groep 7 en 8 die in de kindergemeenteraad zitten, mochten 2000 euro aan een of meerdere projecten besteden.

Deze projecten moeten een maatschappelijk doel betreffen binnen de gemeente Woudrichem. Na een debat over de ingediende projecten vond er een stemming plaats waarbij het geld verdeeld werd. De winnende projecten van de stemming waren: ‘meer dan alleen voetbal’ van vv Woudrichem, Urbansport 24 Fit Woudrichem en Schilderen met ouderen van Schildergroep de Riethorst Stromenland.

Het project ‘kindergemeenteraad’ bestond uit drie delen: Woudrichemse raadsleden geven gastlessen op school, elke klas houdt een opiniërende kinderraadsvergadering en tot slot is er de besluitvormende vergadering van de Kindergemeenteraad. Er deden vier schoolklassen mee van ’t Ravelijn, Basisschool Oudendijk en twee klassen van de Eben Haëzer. De gastlessen zijn gegeven door gemeenteraadsleden en wethouders.
