Description
English: Germanic grave goods from the late Roman fortress of Keszthely-Fenékpuszta
  • Zala County, Hungary

Grave 16 of the horreum cemetery (below), last third of the 6th to the first third of the 7th century
Burial of a man in extended supine position, with coffin vestiges and stone packing.

3. Finger ring (silver) with rectangular top plate depicting fishes.

Grave 3 from the early Christian basilica (above), last third of the 6th century

This robbed burial was located in the southern flanking aisle of the basilica. Because of its exceptional belt outfittings, it counts among the preeminent finds of this era in Pannonia.

Grab 3 aus der frühchristlichen Basilika (oben), letztes Drittel 6. Jahrhundert

Die beraubte Bestattung wurde im südlichen Seitenschiff der Basilika angelegt. Sie zählt aufgrund ihrer exzeptionellen Gürtelgarnitur zu den herausragenden Funden dieser Zeit in Pannonien.
