Dis hoe die Drawidiese volkskultuur in meeste van die sri Sudalai Madan swamy-tempels beoefen word. English: Recording of Kariyandi Kovil kodai (Temple Ceremony). When the thappu melam beats start, few devotees wears god costumes and worships. When the deity's spritual is expressed with loud screaming sound through the devotees, then Kovil kodai melam starts (3 min 54 sec). This is how folk culture is practiced in most of the sri Sudalai madan swamy temple. This audio was recorded in Kariyandi Arulmigu (i.e. benevolent) Sri Sudalai madan swamy (i.e. lord) Thirukovil (i.e. prominent temple) at Tirunelveli district in Tamilnadu, India.
