Description
English: The miḥrāb – indicating where the qibla is (for this site, south) – is attached to the Maṣṭabat aṣ-Ṣanawbar. This miḥrāb has a rectangular "window" (not visible from this angle) in it, unlike the nearby solid miḥrāb of the nearby Maṣṭabat al-Burāq.

Background, middle: the gray-domed building is the Islamic Museum, with fenced-off stairs to the Al-Fakhariyya Minaret (left).

Background, right: the small white-domed free-standing square building is the Sebil of the Moors' Gate (not to be confused with the nearby Dome of Yusuf Agha, not shown here), behind which is Moors' Gate (Morocco Gate).
