Description
Deutsch: Richtung Osten, der Umbau der Weichen mit dem Bogen in die Hermann-Liebmann-Straße wurde möglich, weil die Strecke in der Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße ohnehin und bis November gesperrt ist. Eingebaut wurde hier wieder klassischer Spurhalteroberbau in Beton.
Hätte man die Strecke durch die untere Hermann-Liebmann-Straße, die bis 2001 von der Linie 22 bedient wurde, nicht 2005 im Hanssschen Stilllegungs- und Buswahn geschlossen und umgehende unbefahrbar gemacht, dann hätte die Umleitung der Linie 1 deutlich günstiger ausfallen können. Dass die Osttangente mit der Schließung des Ostringes LC/6361 an Bedeutung gewinnen würde, war bei der Liniennetzreform 2001 schon bekannt, doch die Auto- und Buslobby war auch in diesem Fall wieder stärker.
