Description
English:
Jászai Mari Theater. People's House. A cultural institution. Founded by Hungarian General Coal Mines Company. Built in between 1913 and 1917. In contrast to the cultural building opposite (Officials House now Tulip House), it was built primarily for miners. Here was the County Library central unit in between 1952 and 1963. The building's 750-seat main hall was perfectly suited for theatrical and cinema performances and concerts, while it also enabled the operation of self-motivated art groups, theatre clubs/groups, song groups/choirs and reading groups. In between 1976 and 1979 extended (architect Kálmán Keserű) with a wing include a chamber stage and a music hall. Here established the Orpheus Theater in 1980, an Orpheus statue by Imre Varga stand before the building till 2006. Inside actress Mari Jászai bust by György Szabó (1980) - 4 or 5 Népház Street, Óváros neighborhood, Tatabánya, Komárom-Esztergom County, Hungary

Jászai Mari Színház, Népház. A homlokzaton 50 éve itt ülésezett Tatabánya Város közgyűléseemléktábla (1997) műemléktábla (2008) van. Szobrok: belül van Jászai Mari szobor (Felállítás 2000, Szabó György) maradványa. Az eredeti kompozícióban két oszloppal több volt.; kívül volt Orfeuszc. alkotás (Felállítás 1980. szeptember 6., Varga Imre) amely az itt alakult Orfeusz Sznházra utal(t). 2009-ben a szobrot raktárban tárolják, állítólag ismét felállítják (2021-ig nem történt meg). - Komárom-Esztergom megye, Tatabánya, Óváros (korábban: I. kerület: Bányaváros, ill. Tatabánya község), Népház uca 4 v. 5?
