Dimensioni per autostrade, strade extraurbane principali o strade urbane di scorrimento:
formato normale: lato 70 cm, altezza carattere 40 cm
formato ridotto: lato 50 cm, altezza carattere 25 cm.
Dimensioni per altre strade:
formato normale: lato 40 cm, altezza carattere 15 cm
formato ridotto: lato 25 cm, altezza carattere 10 cm.
