English: Organized by the Institut Curie every year in March, the national campaign "A Daffodil Against Cancer" mobilizes the general public in France around the fight against cancer. Its objective is to raise awareness of the importance of the fight against cancer and to call on as many people as possible to make donations to support the research and medical innovation carried out at the Institut Curie for the benefit of patients. International symbol of the fight against cancer, which remains the leading cause of death in France, the daffodil is at the heart of this campaign. To wear the daffodil is to bring hope to all those who fight daily against the disease: researchers, doctors, caregivers, patients and their loved ones. |
