This report, prepared in the Division of Revision and Results, under the direction of Dr. Joseph A. Hill, assisted by Mr. Lewis Meriam, reproduces the series of statistical tables appearing as Bulletin 119 (Insane and feeble-minded institutions 1910) of the Bureau and, in addition, contains a discussion of the statistics, with tables presenting ratios and percentages; also a summarization of the laws relative to the care of the insane.--Letter of transmittal
