English: Fotografía: Ángel Cantero | 19-12-2015 - Los días 18 y 19 de diciembre, la localidad vallisoletana de Olmedo ha rendido homenaje a Santa Teresa de Jesús, en conmemoración del V Centenario de su nacimiento y a sus raices olmedanas, ya que su madre, Beatriz de Ahumada, nació en esta villa, y al dato histórico de sus visitas a sus abuelos maternos. Por ello se han celebrado diversos actos y actividades. Entre ellos, una misa concelebrada por el cardenal Ricardo Blázquez en la Iglesia de Santa María, invitado al evento para oficiar este acto litúrgico en homenaje a Santa Teresa, que contó con la presencia del Coro de Villa y Tierra de Olmedo. Al acto asistieron representantes institucionales y la escritora Paloma Gómez Borrero, quien tras la misa ofreció un recital poético y musical titulado ‘Vuelve Teresa’, junto al barítono Luis Santana y el pianista Antonio López Serrano. |
