| Description |
On the 19th March 2011, 38 Degrees joined up with Anti Slavery International and the Independent on Sunday to hand in a 45,873 signature petition to number 10 Downing Street, asking the government to sign up to the new EU Directive on Human Trafficking. The campaign was a big success, and the government has now agreed to the EU Directive which will provide more protection for victims of trafficking. This is all thanks to 38 Degrees members standing up against injustice. 38 Degrees, Anti Slavery International and Oxana outside number 10. |
