English: Ansicht des Hofer Weihnachtsmarktes von Nachmittag bis blauer Stunde. Es herrscht reger Verkehr, und die Buden sind stark frequentiert. Der Nikolauswar auch zugegen. Der eigentliche Weihnachtsmarkt ist auf Altstadt und Oberen Torplatz verteilt. Da am Torplatz die Baustelle weg ist, kann der Platz nun vom Markt eingenommen werden. Der Markt ist gesamt etwas weiter gen Norden gerutscht, die Bühne nun am Kugelbrunnen. Straßen wie Lorenzstraße, Marienstraße, Ludwigstraße, Dr.-Wirth-Platz, Sonnenplatz, Luitpoldstraße sind weihnachtlich geschmückt. Die musikalischen Engel finden sich ebenfalls in der Innenstadt. Der Weihnachtsmarkt findet vom 25.11.2024 bis zum 22.12.2024 statt. In der Dunkelheit wirkt der Markt durch seine Illuminaton deutlich anders als bei Tageslicht. Pärchen schlendern auch gerne über den Markt. Manche kritisieren die Kommerzialisisierung solcher Festivitäten, andere genießen die Zeit bei einem heißen Punsch. Kalt wird es vor allem abends, es ist also Vorsicht geboten.

The actual Christmas market is spread out over the old town and Oberer Torplatz. As the building site at Torplatz has been removed, the market can now occupy the square. The market has moved a little further north, the stage is now at the Kugelbrunnen. Streets such as Lorenzstraße, Marienstraße, Ludwigstraße, Dr.-Wirth-Platz, Sonnenplatz and Luitpoldstraße are decorated for Christmas. The musical angels can also be found in the city center. The Christmas market takes place from 25.11.2024 to 22.12.2024. In the dark, the market looks very different than in daylight due to its illumination. Couples also like to stroll through the market. Some criticize the commercialization of such festivities, others enjoy the time with a hot punch. It gets particularly cold in the evening, so caution is advised. |
