Description
English: Visualizing Stem Cell Dynamics in the Bone Marrow. Animated movie projection of hematopoietic cell dynamics in vivo, highlights how large amounts of visual information from our imaging strategy can be effectively processed through our computational analysis approach. All three zones of interaction (contact, proximal and distal) with bone or vessels are marked. Stem cells (blue) have a greater frequency of long-term contact interactions with vasculature compared to bone. Progenitor cells (green) have greater frequency of short-term contact interactions with vasculature.
