English: View of the Hof action alliance "HOF is COLORFUL". On June 17, 2023, the AfD Thuringia held a rally with Björn Höcke, who is considered by many to be a right-wing extremist. As a silent counter-protest, the Alliance for Democracy and Against Right-Wing Extremism has called. In order to prevent riots, the AfD rally and the counter-protest were held locally separately - and also simultaneously in different federal states (AfD in Thuringia, "HOF ist BUNT" in Bavaria). Now and then AfD supporters and other people are said to have come and criticized that they feel excluded from the action alliance because Nazis are not welcome. That the AfD held the rally with Höcke and other local politicians on the 70th anniversary of the uprisings in the GDR, of all places, is seen by some as an affront. The AfD draws parallels - the GDR was a dictatorship and the AfD sees today's FRG more as a dictatorship of opinion. This view becomes more questionable when one considers that the AfD has made use of freedom of speech and freedom of assembly for this purpose. These are vested rights that tend to be rare in dictatorships. Germany may no longer have physical barriers, but divisions in society are evident - symbolized here by a separation of political views by a national border. Also on hand were public broadcasters in the form of Bayerischer Rundfunk and private sector companies such as Frankenpost. Around 4 p.m., the set-up of "Mödlareuth - grenzenlos bunt!" was cleared up again. Started the counter-demo at 10 o'clock. The AfD sounded the entire district (Bavarian and Thuringian side) and there were also "Höcke, Höcke, Höcke" shouts clearly heard from the AfD audience. Here you can see a text with "here is your place". The setup is supposed to represent the diversity and multiplicity of society. A reality that the AfD does not want to recognize and accept.
Deutsch: Ansicht des Hofer Aktionsbündnisses "HOF ist BUNT". Am 17. Juni 2023 hat die AfD Thüringen eine Kundgebung mit Björn Höcke abgehalten, der vielen als Rechtsextremist gilt. Als stillen Gegenprotest hat das Bündnis zu Demokratie und gegen Rechtsextremismus aufgerufen. Um Krawallen vorzubeugen, wurden die AfD-Kundgebung und der Gegenprotest örtlich getrennt abgehalten - und auch gleichzeitig in verschiedenen Bundesländern (AfD in Thüringen, "HOF ist BUNT" in Bayern). Hin und wieder sollen AfD-Anhänger und andere Leute gekommen und sein und kritisiert haben, dass sie sich vom Aktionsbündnis ausgeschlossen fühlen, weil Nazis nicht willkommen sind. Dass die AfD die Kundgebung mit Höcke und anderen Lokalpolitikern ausgerechnet am 70. Jahrestag der Aufstände in der DDR abhielten, sehen manche als Affront. Die AfD zieht Parallelen - die DDR war eine Diktatur und die AfD sieht die heutige BRD eher als Gesinnungsdiktatur. Fragwürdiger wird diese Ansicht, wenn man bedenkt, dass die AfD hierfür von der Meinungsfreiheit und der Versammlungsfreiheit Gebrauch gemacht hat. Dies sind verbriefte Rechte, die in Diktaturen tendenziell selten sind. Deutschland mag keine physischen Hindernisse mehr haben, Spaltungen in der Gesellschaft werden aber deutlich - hier symbolisch durch eine Trennung der politischen Ansichten durch eine Landesgrenze. Vor Ort waren auch öffentlich-rechtlicher Rundfunk in Form des Bayerischen Rundfunks und privatwirtschaftliche Unternehmen wie die Frankenpost. Gegen 16 Uhr wurde die Einrichtung von "Mödlareuth - grenzenlos bunt!" wieder zusammengeräumt. Begonnen hat die Gegendemo um 10 Uhr. Die AfD beschallte den gesamten Ortsteil (Bayerische und thüringische Seite) und es waren auch "Höcke, Höcke, Höcke"-Rufe vom AfD-Publikum deutlich zu hören. Hier sieht man einen Text mit "hier ist dein Platz". Der Aufbau soll die Diversität und Vielfältigkeit der Gesellschaft darstellen. Eine Realität, die die AfD nicht anerkennen und akzeptieren will. |
