Description
Svenska: Bestående av två broscher samt ett par örhängen i etui.De nästan identiska broscherna, den ena stor och den andra liten, fick Johanna av sin make Wilhelm Kempe år 1853 respektive 1854. Den mindre broschen har en avbruten hake som indikerar att den kan ha använts även som hängsmycke. Broscherna består av en knut i rundstav vars yttersta ände har valsats ut och smyckats med blomsterrankor i relief.Att broschernas nedre del formpressats syns extra tydligt bakifrån. Där syns också bland annat juvelerarfirma Gustaf Möllenborgs stämpel. Möllenborg var en av de stora firmorna som efter skråväsendets avskaffande i Sverige år 1846 började importera och tillverka smycken enligt de nya, moderna teknikerna för det köpstarka borgerskapet.Örhängena är också från Möllenborg, men tillverkade med ett decenniums mellanrum, 1853 respektive 1863. Sannolikt lät Wilhelm Kempe ersätta ett örhänge som husrun tappat. De består av en knut i rundsatv med synliga blomdekorationer.Johanna finns avporträtterad med garnityret på en målning från år 1865 i Hallwylska museets samling. Målningen är gjord av konstnären Édouard Boutibonne under dottern Wilhelminas bröllopsresa.JeSo, 2016-03-10
