Description
English: A map of the Luan River watershed in northeastern China, the 1st "Jizhou Map" (Jizhou Biantu) from Luo Hongxian's Enlarged Atlas, Vol. 2, based on the maps first drafted by Zhu Siben. Library of Congress copy of Hu Song's 1558 revision. Despite being named for Jizhou, now a district of Tianjin, the map does not include it but instead shows the area in Hebei to its northeast including the important Xifeng Pass (Xifengkou). The Great Wall is omitted from the area. Each square is 40×40 li (about 12×12 km or 8×8 mi).
