Dansk: Illustration af Poul Steffensen til Carit Etlars roman Gjøngehøvdingen, der foregår under den Første Karl Gustav-krig i 1657-1658. Ib Abelsøn, Tam og gøngehøvdingen Svend Poulsen. Ib Abelsøn og Svend Poulsen, da den førhen forræderiske Tam fortæller om, hvordan han advarede de andre gønger, da de to blev fanget, og hvordan han fandt og skjulte deres tønde med penge. Svend Poulsen (ca. 1610 - ca. 1679) var en virkelig person, men historien er fiktion. Svend Poulsens udseende er også fantasi, for der kendes ingen portrætter af ham.
English: Illustration by Poul Steffensen from the Danish novel Gjøngehøvdingen by Carit Etlar which takes place during the Dano-Swedish War in 1657-1658. Ib Abelsøn, Tam and Svend Poulsen, Gøngehøvdingen. Ib Abelsøn and Svend Poulsen becomes happy when the previous treacherous Tam tell them how he warned the other gønger when the two where captured and how he found and hided their barrel with money. Svend Poulsen (app. 1610 - app. 1679) was a real person but the story is fiction. The look of Svend Poulsen is also fantasy as there are no known portraits of him. |
