English: Optical Mapping of 48 hpf Tg ( cmlc2 : gCaMP ) s878 Hearts Reveals AV Conduction Delay Calcium activation initiates in the atrium (upper right) and travels to the AV canal where it is significantly delayed. Calcium excitation is completed as the wave front propagates from the AV canal through the ventricle (lower left) and to the OFT.
