English: Gela Mikava is a Georgian Visual artist. He was born in Zugdidi on November 16, 1995, in a family of IDPs from Abkhazia. Gela won his first art competition at the age of 6 when he drew the image of the Coat of Arms of Georgia with chalk.

These ceilings, often replaced during renovations, carry with them the history of generations. When I create a painting on one of these canvases, I feel a deep sense of responsibility to honor the heritage it carries. It is as if the canvas itself guides my hand, telling its own story through my art. Sculpture as a Medium: My artistic exploration extends beyond traditional painting. I venture into the realm of sculpture, where I breathe new life into discarded household items and children's toys. This endeavor is not merely an artistic pursuit; it is a conscious mission to elevate the ordinary, to infuse the forgotten with new purpose. Through these sculptures, I aim to connect diverse materials in a way that is both meaningful and harmonious.
