| Description |
English: Gambleside Old Village Open air baptistry.This was a bath in which the faithful were dipped during the baptising ceremony and was last used in the 1870s.Following its disuse it was extended to double its original size to act as a water storage tank for the steam engine at pumping pit. This structure was restored by North West Water in 1995 |
