English: Gambleside is an abandoned village within the Rossendale borough of Lancashire, England. Its scattered buildings were located on the south side of the valley of Limy Water near Clowbridge Reservoir. The construction of the reservoir in 1866 led to farming restrictions and ultimately the village's desertion and demolition.
