Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Quick roadside shot of the archway entrance to Winfield Hall, better known as the Frank Winfield Woolworth Estate on 77 Crescent Beach Road in Glen Cove, New York. The "Carey" name over the arch was for Martin Carey, brother of the former New York State Governor Hugh Carey, who bought the house in 1978 and added it to the arch. Sadly this was the only decent image I was able to get without the risk of being attacked by some private security guard. I did take a later roadside shot of the house from Crescent Beach Road, but it really wasn't good enough.

This is an image of a place or building that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the United States of America. Its reference number is 79001593.
