Description
English:
Richly carved stone well in the upper garden of the former Forgách mansion now Kubinyi Museum. A medieval castle built here in (before) 1456. Remodelled to Forgách family mansion in 17th century (in/after 1690) and in beween 1753 and 1763. Listed building and nature protected garden also the area is under archaeologically protected - First? owner: Count Zsigmond Forgách de Ghymes et Gács, who was a nádorispán=~~vice king. Since 1846 owned by noble Ferenc Aurél Emánuel Pulszky de Cselfalva et Lubóc, since 1903 Jenő Grósz, since 1943 baron Béla Lipthay de kisfalud et lubelle. Under WW2 used as Red Army hospital. - Ady Endre Street, Szécsény, Nógrád County, Hungary.
